WhaleFest is a non-profit event which raises funds for the World Cetacean Alliance (WCA). The WCA is the only global partnership of organisations and individuals working to protect whales and dolphins. This year passions will be stirred by live performances, films, talks, comedy, exhibitions, music and inspiring activities for all ages. Campaigning once more to see whales and dolphins released from tanks to live wild and free, WhaleFest will once again attract people from all over the world as we anticipate an audience of 12,000+ from over 40 countries.

A great day for those who loves modelling. Everyone is welcome, any ages. The exhibition will showcase all sorts of models from all across the country. This one will be the 34th birthday of the event having started out as a model railway show. The show will feature : railways, boats, cars, aeroplanes, full size model of Battle of Britain aircrafts “Spitfire”, full size steam locomotives, robots, circuses, fairgrounds, modelling trade stands. The band has confirmed a UK headline tour in February 2015, with nine new shows added to the previously announced London O2 Arena and Leeds First Direct Arena dates. A new single from Kaiser Chiefs has been sent to radio in the UK, “My Life” is the third single from the band’s Number 1 album Education, Education, Education & War released earlier this year via Fiction Records.

It’s the best way to discover where we came from, deal with where we are and debate where we might go in the future. The festival is for all ages, but the ones we are particularly doing this for are 12-14 year-olds. The aim of this event is to resuscitate that spirit of discovery and curiosity back into them by implementing a few alternative ways of learning rather than the heavy old books. Loserville, written by Elliot Davis and James Bourne, is set in 1971 and tells the story of geeks vs jocks in an American high school. “Burning the Clocks” is at the door!! It is a unique community event created by Same Sky that brings the whole city together to mark the shortest day of the year. Local people make their own paper and willow lanterns and after processing through the city, they pass them into a blazing bonfire on Brighton beach, as a token of the year’s end.
