Burning The Clocks 2009

Burning the Clocks is a charming Brighton family parade that celebrates the winter solstice with a lantern parade through the Lanes followd by a spectacular fire show and fireworks for the whole city on the seafront. The lantern makers invest their lanterns with their wishes, hopes and fears and then pass them into the fire.

The lantern parade will leave at 6.30burning_the_clocks_bec_britain_2008_31pm. Going through North Street, Ship Street, Bartholomews, East Street the front of the parade should arrive at Madeira Drive at 7.15pm and the event to finish at 8pm. Please note all times are approximate.
