Had a fantastic stay at the Oriental, Lovely staff, lovely rooms, lovely food…. Just perfect! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Very nice room, great service, very nice staff. Great Breakfast! Loved the bath. Chocolate on the bed was a very nice touch.

Sing! No experience required! What’s required is a five quid ticket to pay (which is very fair). You will have the chance to experience a 2 whole hours of African sacred singing led by Mahasukha, a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order, with an Advanced Diploma in Music and an immensely contagious passion for harmony singing and percussionist. He is originally from the UK and his way of bringing people together in singing has gained a lot of popularity over the years. I have stayed twice and love the Oriental, so different in a great way. Happy sort of place. Suits me fine being able to book a single room, not many about in Brighton. Staff are cool, friendly and attentive.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I came for peace and relaxation and got it! The live music on Thursday  is excellent, as is the service and welcome. What made it for me was that the room I stayed in, was the room I saw a photo of in the Brighton guide that made me book the hotel in first place.
