If you have stayed at The Oriental then you will know our receptionist Jenna Bennett. However, when she isn’t hosting at our Boutique Hotel, Jenna hosts music nights!
In the past she has promoted at The Victory and 3 Jolly Butchers. The new night is going to be at The Quadrant every other week on a Tuesday. It’ll be run as an open mic night but Jenna will also line up some greats acts to perform.

Thankyou to everyone who came and shared our monthly music night with us last Thursday. The evening was a very special one with Jenna’s Dad performing having come all the way from Cornwall! Once again we had wonderful music sung to us from Lisa and Simon, Ricky Gallimore, Kelly Barnes and Jenna Bennett. These nights are becoming very successful and we are looking forward to the next one (4 August).

30 October @ Theatre Royal
The comical genius-Dave Gorman, is coming to Brighton with his new show. For those of you who haven’t heard of him, Mr Gorman performs shows about modern technology, times and pressures. He is hilarious, check out his shows ‘Meet Dave Gorman’ and ‘Googlewhack’ for an idea.
This performance is based around power point presentations and is set to be a corker.

23 & 24 July
In aid of the chairty Rockinghorse (a sick children’s charity) a bungee jump is being set up on Hove Lawns during the weekend of the 23 July. This year they want to make it the biggest yet, with a 170ft jump arranged alongside family entertainment, a gyroscope and a climbing wall.
