Filming , photo shoots , dancing . . . Brighton’s Bandstand(The Birdcage) see’s it all ! Having been neglected for about forty years , it now stands proud on the seafront and has become a regular place of entertainment. Since it’s renovation in 2009 The Bandstand has been licensed for music, performances and even weddings , and on June 5th Brighton and Hove’s Youth Big Band will be taking centre stage.
With seats on the seafront and the Bandstand cafe open to indulge you with food and drink , you are set up nicely for two hours by the ocean and (hopefully) in the sunshine to watch some of Brighton’s most talented classical musicians.
