Brighton Museum & Royal Pavilion – 16/03/2013 – 18/01/2014
A bit of history here. If you have an inclination for archaeology or you simply find the process and research of our past as human beings on Earth interesting, there will be a new display in town this month about the ice age that will definitely grab your attention. A great exploration that stretches from the climate change process to the story of man as we know it today, with particular attention to the Victorian ‘great bone rush’ and the Boxgrove Man, the oldest known human ancestors in Britain. The ice rink is still on! Until the 19th of January. It’s simply wonderful to be able to skate by such an amazing building and Brighton council made it all possible for the consecutive 4th year! There’s also a cafe and a restaurant next to it so to have a great overall experience. The 800 square metre rink has space for 250 skaters per session so plenty of room for everyone!
