Artists Open Houses Festival 2014

In 1981, the painter Ned Hoskins opened his house to the public to show and sell his artwork.  A year later more artists decided to do so with their own paintings. 30 years on and the event has grown so much to become the first and the biggest of its kind in UK, generating over £1mil in sales every year. The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival

Brighton Marathon 2014

Here it comes! Thousands of runners are getting ready to literally invade the city of Brighton for the 99th consecutive year. The road race run is over a distance of 26 miles. On 2013 the race has reached a 20% increase on entries counting over 18.000. A massive number considering the narrow streets of tiny Brighton. Hopefully this year there won’t be more or the whole town will face sudden sinking in the cold water of the sea…Thousands also will be the Brighton seagulls expected due to the obvious abundance of food from the participants and the audience. VegfestUK 2014

VegfestUK is coming back again filled with even more food, drinks, tastings, competitions, TV gurus, films, veggie cookery demos, entertainment, music, performances, talks and product presentations. Royal Pavilion’s Ice Rink

It’s simply wonderful to be able to skate by such an amazing building and Brighton council made it all possible for the consecutive 4th year! There’s also a cafe and a restaurant next to it so to have a great overall experience.  The 800 square metre rink has space for 250 skaters per session so plenty of room for everyone!

London to Brighton Mini Run

Come down to see thousands of Minis gathering together for the London to Brighton run! It’s an annual event that will start at The Terraces, Crystal Palace Park, Anerley Hill in London, all the way down to Madeira Drive in Brighton. The visitors will enjoy watching troops of Minis slowly taking over the entire east seafront! The run starts at 8am and the last cars leave at around 10.15 am. The event will officially close at 5pm after the prize giving. More info here!
